about

Originally intended to be a part of the sound installation, I was walking home..., I ultimately decided to excise the work from the sound installation and present it as a standalone work. The work takes fragments of a conversation in a local Chelsea bar from two composers who are about to leave New York. Kevin Baldwin utters the phrase, 'coffee, work, sleep, repeat' which becomes the reoccurring mantra for the work (and for life in NYC). The work was created at Twin Wood Studios in Decatur, MI.
